Free Outdoor Festival October 4 & 5 | Poe House, 203 N. Amity Street A macabre midway of readings, art, street performances, vendors, and the annual Costume POErade—free to join! Plus appearances by the Charm City Ghostbusters, nerd-core legend MC Lars, and YouTube super-fowl Chad the Bird. NEW this year: exhibits and events commemorating 150 years of the Poe Monument at Westminster Hall, including rare artifacts, historic conspiracies, and a commemorative concert featuring the U.S. premiere of Alexina Louie’s musical setting of The Raven.
This year marks the 180th anniversary of “The Raven” and the 176th anniversary of Poe’s mysterious death—milestones that will be honored with live performances, dramatic readings, immersive experiences, local food and drinks.
